Celebrating Three Years with Bella

Bella has been seeing Cassie for skin advice for almost ten years! It started by tagging along to her mom and older sister's skin appointments, who were both loyal clients. Bella was always interested in what was going on in the treatment and asked great skin questions about her own skin. And then, as she grew, it turned into help with her chronic acne and her own appointments. Of course, there were times when Bella couldn't always commit and even tried creams and pills from the dermatologist, but she found those only made things worse. Because Bella has always been wise beyond her years, she came back to her tried and trustworthy aesthetician.

As her relationship with Cassie strengthened and Bella grew into her own in high school, she started to think about a career in aesthetics. As a lover of fashion and travel, she thought that as an aesthetician, she could embrace her style, give beauty advice, travel for educational training, and potentially work in resort spas across the world.

Even though she has this impeccable style and would fit right in London or Paris, she is a true family girl. She loves her parents, siblings, and friends and feels right being close to home. So, after entertaining moving overseas, she realized Skin MPLS was right where she wanted to be. Bella is always someone who does the right thing. Whether that means always washing her own face every single night or choosing the perfect career path at a young age, we are so impressed by it all! So where is Bella today, almost ten years later? 

What motivates Bella to help treat skin today

As an east-side girl, Bella attended St. Paul College for aesthetics training and licensing. She loved the entire program, and she especially enjoyed the advanced and more medical side – acne, extractions, and medical spa treatments were her favorites!

Before she completed her program, she proactively asked to work an internship with us to gain experience and knowledge of the industry. Once she was licensed, she continued the internship with us. She also started working at a different spa as an aesthetician to gain more industry experience and client experience until we had an aesthetician opening. Bella knew she truly wanted to work at Skin MPLS since she was in high school so that she could realize her true passion, treating acne. 

Bella comes with more skin and product experience than many tenured aestheticians. She still struggles with keeping her chronic acne clear, so acne is more than top of mind when it comes to working with and treating new acne clients. But if you don't have acne, you will still be in great hands because she loves skin trends and knows about way too many products! Her colleagues sometimes have to reel her in from trying new products and product lines. She says what always works best for her skin is Vivant Skincare – and it has since the 8th grade! For the entire team that works here at the studio, Vivant Skincare always remains at the top when it comes to achieving next-level skin.

Bella in 2035 and beyond

Apologies for having to ask Bella the dreaded question of where she sees herself in ten years. But while the answer was not a shock, it did leave us a little teary-eyed. Without pause, she says she sees herself at Skin MPLS! She loves the work we do and wouldn't want to do it any differently. 

"There's no reason to start your own studio when you get to be a part of something so big and so life-changing for people," she says.  

As Cassie nears 12 years with Skin MPLS, Pamela nears 7 and Haley nears 6, we feel pretty certain about Bella making it ten – especially with her passion and head-start in the industry.

Where does the time go? That we can't tell you, but we can tell you that Bella is the future of skincare. With her confidence and commitment, she will continue to pursue education and training and still hopes to travel the world in the name of good skin.  

Getting a facial treatment with Bella is like hanging with your girlfriend. Your girlfriend who knows about all the skin, including trends, and is also a certified acne expert.
