This results in the effective remodeling of tissue with rich collagen and elastin proteins, which improve skin youthfulness.

WHO IS MICRONEEDLING FOR?

Microneedling is suitable for nearly anyone and is safe for all skin except those who have active skin cancer in the treatment area; open wounds, sores, or irritated skin in the treatment area; an allergy to stainless steel or anesthetics; a hemorrhagic (bleeding) disorder or hemostatic (bleeding) dysfunction; are pregnant or nursing; or are currently taking drugs with the ingredient isotretinoin (such as Accutane).

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH MICRONEEDLING?

The bulk of our reverse65 treatment time will be the actual microneedling of your skin (learn about the differences between microneedling and microchanneling here!) to create controlled inflammation to trigger your skin's natural wound-healing functions. But, as in every treatment, we will start with a deep ultrasonic cleanse, perform any light extractions necessary (note that this treatment is not suggested for those still treating active acne), numb your skin for twenty minutes, complete the microneedling, and then work to begin to calm the inflammation with LED and/or oxygen therapy. You will leave quite pink, which should fade in approximately 24 hours, and you will not be able to wear any product on your face (including SPF and makeup) or sweat for the first 24 hours – so plan your calendar accordingly.
