Reminiscing With Haley About The Last 6.5 Years!
This week was Haley's au revoir as an aesthetician at Skin MPLS. Of course, it has been devastating to say goodbye, but Haley is looking forward to diving all in with her kids and her entire, close-knit family. Being so family-focused has driven her clients-first care at the studio, and for Haley, saying goodbye to her clients was the hardest part of the transition.
Haley kept on these final weeks and continued helping people with their skin goals. She looks forward to being on the other side of the treatment room and promises we will see her even more as a client, putting her skin first for once. Now it's time to reminisce on some of our favorite memories of the last six and a half years of Haley!
Our first meeting with the team!
The first time Haley walked into Skin MPLS was in early 2019. It was shortly after we transitioned from a two-suite studio, where aestheticians answered the phone and checked out clients, to what one might jokingly call a "real business" with a waiting room and front desk. Cassie previously met Haley at The Glow Lounge, and just like Cassie has an eye for skin, she has an eye for future Skin MPLS employees. Haley's first meeting in the growing studio space (that now included a front desk) didn't seem like the first time Haley was meeting the team. She already felt like a natural and one of the team.
Vivant
Did you know Skin MPLS inspired Vivant to start rewards trips for their top accounts? These trips were opportunities to enjoy perks, but more importantly, to dive into the culture of Vivant Skincare and learn all about our hero, Dr. Fulton. Haley will never forget her time in Miami. We actually got to stay in the vacation home of Dr. Fulton, tour the lab where the products are made, and enjoy a little Miami nightlife. That trip was truly magical, and Haley will never forget bonding with her new coworkers. She laughs as she remembers sharing a room with Pamela and shoving towels in the door to trap the wild Miami geckos in the bathroom.
Client Success Stories
Before Haley pursued aesthetics, she was on a path to a career in public health. However, after receiving a facial and being inspired by the YouTube beauty craze, she thought this industry might be a better match. Since she's always been intrigued by medicine and science, she started in dermatologist offices, but didn't love their approach. She wanted time and TLC with her people.
She opted for a perfect partnership in results-driven yet soul-soothing treatments. Haley never had acne, but that didn't make it hard for her to treat acne. Having sensitive skin, she lives by "less is more." This makes her a diamond in the rough aesthetician because she can see through all the shiny new objects and create simple, effective, and affordable regimens. These regimens have gone on to change people's lives repeatedly. She was an expert in all, but really stood out in treating teenagers, young women, and rosacea-prone skin.
The Future!
With teary-eyed cheers and hugs, we said goodbye to Haley on Monday. We are excited for her to come back for treatments and take all that nurturing energy and apply it to herself and her family. Her clients will be in good hands with a staff that has learned so much from her approach and gentle touch. Skin MPLS is used to welcoming new members, not losing them, but Haley is a rare gem and leaves with class, closure, and that beautiful smile that will live forever in the studio. See you soon, Haley!
