Meet Leah!

If you’ve been around on Monday and Wednesday nights then you know (and love) Leah. With two jobs, she’s still managed to rack up over 1,000 Instagram followers. She’s a child development major, assistant director at a Montessori school and a friendly face behind our Skin MPLS desk. She’s a Skin MPLS client-turned-staff member, and she’s not the first!

She’s the full package: glowing skin and a glowing personality. She’s always up to talk shop, and as an expert in beautiful (and natural) makeup she’ll help you find confidence in your skin and makeup routine. She is as down to earth as it gets. You will instantly feel comfortable when you are around her and her quick wit. As a part-time employee and full-time client, we will take all the time with her we can get. We asked her a few questions, plus even got some advice on how to make skincare a priority! 

You are always referring friends in and running into people you know at the studio, would you say you’re an extrovert? 

Yes, but much as I love to socialize, having my alone time is such a priority!

What’s your favorite part about working with children?

It’s so darn hard to pick just one! Having the opportunity to teach them about kindness in our world is so important to me. Watching them grow into little leaders is also extremely rewarding and gives me such happiness. PLUS you can always count on kiddos to give you a good laugh and a big hug when you're in need.

And your least? :)

Good question! Although my class is filled with little rockstars, we definitely have our challenging days. I would say my least favorite part; MONDAYS. It can be tricky to re-group and get back into our routine.

What products did Cassie send you home with on your first appointment? 

Green Tea Cleanser for AM, Mandelic Exfoliating Cleanser for PM, Allantoin (my forever favorite) and the Day treatment SPF.

What do you like better: skincare or makeup?

If you had asked me this question before becoming a client at Skin MPLS, I easily would have said makeup. BUT after being educated on ingredients and products, I’m proud to say that I've tossed 90% of my makeup bag and have completely fallen in love with all things skincare.
