Five Products To Put In Your Fanny Pack At The Minnesota State Fair
It is hard to believe it's already time for the Great Minnesota Get-Together, but here are a few things we would keep in our fanny packs to keep your hands free (for all the delicious things on a stick) and to keep your skin happy while you make your way through the Minnesota State Fair!
Triad Pads for when you’re feeling gross and need a clean refresh after chomping your corn on the cob. Skip the foundation at the fair and just wear a hat and lots of SPF. Then you can wipe your face and neck down with these cleansing and refreshing pads every couple of hours to keep your skin hydrated, clean, and refreshed. Don’t forget to reapply your SPF after refreshing.
Clear Skin Balance supplements are a good source of omega-3 to balance out the omega-6-rich foods at the fair. Fried foods may be part of the fun, but they contain high levels of omega-6 fatty acids that can cause inflammation and, for some, contribute to acne. Everything in moderation, right?!
Colorescience SPF Stick is an easy-to-reapply mineral SPF to pack so you can keep your skin protected all day. In addition to your face, pop some on your shoulders, hands, the back of your neck, ears, and your State Fair companions!
Rosebud Salve comes in a tube or a tin, making it handy to have on hand at all times. Swipe on your lips, elbows, cuticles, or any other dry patches. We love it in a pinch as a salve for wounds, too, in case your overly excited kiddo (or self!) trips and falls when racing to get in line at Sweet Martha’s Cookies.
Iso-Rose Hydrating Mist will cool you down if the Fine Arts Building is too crowded to view the seed art. Also, if your blood pressure starts to rise due to the lines or the crowds, give yourself a spritz or two to bring it right down.
