Acne-Safe or Acne-Scary Makeup Spotlight: Tower 28 Beauty

Tower 28 Beauty claims to have high standards for their makeup when it comes to “safety,” but disappointingly, they seem to disregard acne-prone skin completely. You can scan their full range of makeup products below to see the details, but if you’re prone to acne, we’ll save you the click – there isn’t a single acne-safe cosmetic.

Though they’re “dermatologist approved” and “certified clean at Sephora, Credo, and Goop,” we’re here to remind you, yet again, that sadly, these are just marketing terms and hold no real, tangible meaning.

We do love, though, that, like us, they don’t believe high prices don’t necessarily equal quality, effective products. So they don’t inflate the prices of their products nor pour extra resources into fancy packaging just to pass those unnecessary costs onto the consumer. So if you’re one of the lucky ones whose pores don’t typically clog, let us know your thoughts as you try out some Tower 28 Beauty products.
