Skin MPLS Recipe: Happy Face Smoothie
HAPPY FACE SMOOTHIE
Spinach, 2 large handfuls
Ice Cubes, ½ cup
Organic, Grass Fed Vanilla Whey Protein*, 1 heaping scoop
Collagen Powder, 1 scoop
Spirulina*, ¼ tsp
Wheatgrass Powder, ½ tsp
Turmeric, ½ tsp powder or ¼ inch piece of fresh
Ginger, ½ tsp powder or ¼ inch piece of fresh
Cinnamon, ¼ tsp
Orange, ½ fresh peeled
Mango, ½ cup frozen
Avocado, 1 inch slice
Coconut Water, 1½ cup
Place all ingredients in blender in the order listed and blend to desired consistency. Adjust any ingredients or amounts to your own taste.
*Leave these ingredients out if you have acne prone skin. You may substitute Whey Protein with pea or hemp based protein powder.

Spirulina – anti-inflammatory properties, contains vitamin E to nourish skin and body and also contains antioxidants that slow down the aging of skin cells
Ginger – detoxifying, antiseptic, medicinal, antioxidant and anti-aging benefits
Cinnamon – contains the most antioxidants of any spice. Also fights inflammation in our bodies.
Organic Grass Fed Vanilla Whey Protein – adds protein to fill you up and help to make smoothie a meal.
Collagen – Promotes skin’s elasticity and firmness and contributes to glowing skin. Also aids in joint health.
Coconut Water – nutrient rich water that is a great source of hydration and also contains antioxidants.
Orange – rich in vitamin C to aid in immunity and general anti-oxidant support.
Avocado – healthy fat that will fill you up and provide anti-inflammatory benefits
Mango – contains vitamin C and beta-carotene to boost your immune system
